A Pot of Bones & The Reckoning

Horsham-based community theatre company Lights & Bushels brings two brand new one-act plays to Cranleigh Arts, both set in the 17th century, both steeped in mystery and atmosphere. The perfect entertainment for a dark winter’s night.

Inspired by real depositions from the Ely assises: the chilling case of a missing boy, a pot of bones unearthed by a labourer and parents accused of murder. A haunting story where truth and superstition collide.

🔥 The Reckoning
On his deathbed, the notorious Witchfinder General, Matthew Hopkins, is visited by three of his victims. They demand answers. They demand justice. Retribution cannot be avoided.

🎭 Lights & Bushels invite you to step back into a world of suspicion, fear, and retribution and experience two gripping tales brought vividly to life.
