The Maritime Skill Conclave 2025 - OCEAN (Talent, Training, Technology, Teamwork, Thrive) is a focused, full-day summit organised by Ganpat University at Novotel Goa Panjim on 21 November 2025. In response to rapid technological and regulatory shifts in shipping and ports, the Conclave convenes senior industry executives, regulators, academic leaders, innovators and aspiring maritime professionals to co-create actionable solutions for workforce readiness and sustainable ocean economies.
Key pillars include building global employability and competency frameworks (aligned with IMO/STCW/NSQF), showcasing Maritime 4.0 technologies (AI, digital twins, IoT, Autonomous Systems and Cybersecurity), and strengthening Academia–Industry–Government partnerships for skills, internships and research collaboration.
Expected outcomes include a Global Skill Roadmap, certification and competency pathways, a technology-adoption strategy, and a Blue Economy action plan to accelerate green shipping and coastal livelihoods.
The programme features keynote addresses, panel debates, industry immersions and networking sessions designed to translate discussion into measurable initiatives and consortiums.
