In the stunning surroundings of Llanthony Secunda Priory, you will step into an immersive artwork, made up of unique handmade panels, the community-made village invites visitors to wander, pause, and discover a wide range of personal responses to the question: What does belonging mean to you?

Created by participants from across Gloucestershire, the artwork brings together diverse voices, experiences, and creative approaches.

The exhibition in the Henry Dene Hall further explores belonging as something we all seek and build together, with commissioned artworks from the Gloucester Branch of the Ukrainian Association of Great Britain, and the Exploring Textiles with Ally Goff group from The Folk.

The exhibition is open to all, no charge, no booking required, and is family-friendly.
 
Threads: The Fabric of Gloucester is a partnership project, curated by Voices Gloucester and Jo Teague, and made possible thanks to public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England, the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Together Gloucester and the Ben and Jerry’s Foundation
