- **Event Description**: Take your artwork outside! This is for the painter that has had some studio experience but would like to try painting outdoors. Kim will discuss equipment options, using a limited palette, using a view-finder and thumbnail sketches, finding those big shapes, and deciding on a focal point. Learn to simplify a scene and edit for a good composition, how to work fast to capture those lights and shadows quickly before the scene changes, and how to have fun with painting and not take any of it too seriously!   Mornings will be a demo followed by instruction, and the afternoon will be individual instruction with each student. Students should prepare for two studies (paintings) per day. 

Please bring a lunch! We will take a break each day around lunchtime.
