Get active, meet new people and discover your local area by water, exclusively for residents in PodsmeadAbout this EventAbout this EventWorking with Freedom Leisure and the Blackbridge CCBS the Canal & River Trust are delighted to invite residents of Podsmead for a free, fun and friendly early evening walk.Starting and ending at the Blackbridge Community and Sports Hub, the walks will go at a gentle pace, according to the abilites of people joining us. Expect up to 90 minutes but we can make the sessions shorter depending on the needs of the group.Led by our lovely local volunteers this is a great way to be active, meet people and connect with nature.Whether you are walking or wheeling all are welcome on our routes around Podsmead and along the local towpath. It's all about meeting people so come along on your own, or bring a friend.Please wear comfortable shoes, weather appropriate clothing and bring a bottle of water. Please let us know if you have any requirements or concerns.If you are unable to book online please email: tracy.yates@canalrivertrust.org.uk so we can get you registered.Book nowPlease book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths.
