July 19, 1954 - August 21, 2026

Glenn’s wife, Anne-Marie Bourdon, has asked me to help her organize a Celebration of Life where Glenn was most happy: playing music. We will be celebrating his life with friendships, stories, love, and music.

Glenn and Anne-Marie frequented most of the open mics in Ottawa and the region and got to know just about everybody attending the various open mics. Glenn would regularly be asked to accompany performers on bass (or ukulele or guitar) and he could play along to anything folks would perform!

The celebration of life will be held on Saturday October 24th, beginning at 3:30pm and going until closing time (10:00pm) at Lunergan’s Pub (corner of Blair and Montreal Roads in Ottawa). To help keep everything organized, there will be a sign-up sheet for anyone who would like to perform three songs or for anyone who would like to share a story or two about Glenn.

Please indicate if you will be attending, so we can let Lunergan’s Pub know approximately how many people will be showing up to share their passion for music and to celebrate Glenn’s life.
