Meet by the roped off old oak tree; before the gate into the farm. The walk is roughly 2 – 3 miles on farmland paths, generally level but could be uneven in places. Unfortunately, because this is farmland, the route is not suitable for those who have accessibility needs. The walk is a loop and finishes back at Wick Court at about 3.00pm. The pace is gentle and we will stop several times to discuss the work of Farms for City Children. We will be accompanied by Sandra Ashenford, a member of the Wick Court team, who is knowledgeable about the history of the area. Also joining us will be David Merrit, a partner farmer.THE TALKAt Wick Court – exact location TBC, depending on numbers and weather – either in the Round House or in the larger barn.Refreshments from 3pm. Biosecurity notice - yourwalking footwear must arrive clean - to avoid the risk of introducing infection onto the farm.
