An accompanying exhibition sits alongside the installation with further ways for you to contribute to the evolving show.At 3:45pm, Lyndsay Davies from The Music Works and Hannah Brady from Squidsoup will speak about the project's journey, from the first arterial sound recordings made with the young people, to the finished installation in the gallery.This is a free event, open to invited guests, young people involved in the project, and their families.Arterial Sounds is a free, light and sound installation exploring what cardiovascular health looks, feels, and sounds like, iterating and evolving over the month of July. Created by The Music Works in partnership with internationally acclaimed artists Squidsoup, the work transforms real sounds of blood moving through the arteries - recorded using medical Doppler ultrasound - into a bold, beautiful, ever-shifting artwork.The soundscape at its heart was co-created with young people aged 10–25, who listened to arterial recordings, explored what heart health means to them, and shaped the music that runs through the whole experience.
