Glossop BookFest 2025

This year’s BookFest event will take place in Victoria Hall, Talbot Street, Glossop, on Saturday 22nd November between 1.00-4.00 p.m. Entry is free and refreshments are available. There will be book-stalls, artisan stalls, readings and a children’s interactive show featuring the award winning performance poet Dommy B.

Local authors, illustrators and artisans will be offering their work for sale with signed copies available in the main hall, with another room for children's activities as well as a cafe offering refreshments.. This is the place to buy early Christmas presents!

Anyone wishing run a stall can apply through the BookFest website https://glossopbookfest.co.uk/; cost £10 plus Eventbrite fee. Your stall will be promoted on our Bookfest website if you book by 31st October.
Glossop writer and poet Johanne Lee will present readings for children while Dommy B returns to Bookfest after entertaining the children last year with his interactive show.
In addition there will be opportunities for visitors to add to the Literary Graffiti board and contribute to a Collective Collage poem.
