E.R. Thorpe
Genre: Alt-Folk | For Fans of: Nick Cave / Aldous Harding / Beth Orton

E.R. Thorpe is a singer-songwriter and visual artist whose haunting sound blends poetic storytelling with raw emotional depth. Raised in rural North Nottinghamshire by a blues guitarist father and a folk-inspired mother, she draws on a natural world rich with texture, memory, and meaning. Her debut LP, Human Love (Spring 2026), is an intimate reflection on resilience and renewal. Produced by Jim Baron of Crazy P it features contributions from Huw Costin (Torn Sail), Kev Bales (Spiritualized), Matt Klose (Crazy P) and renowned jazz bassist Simon Paterson.

Performing regularly with The Low Drift, a collective inspired by the folklore and stories of the British Isles, Thorpe captivates audiences with a quiet, magnetic presence. Her voice carries both strength and vulnerability, and her songs are crafted to resonate deeply in intimate and grand settings. Her Debut LP Human Love is out Spring 2026 on Vicious Charm Recordings. Label boss and Skint founder Damian Harris signed her after falling in love with her EP Guided By The Sea (Came Death) in 2023.
