Halloween stirs the imagination and divides opinions - for some, it’s a celebration of creativity, togetherness, and childlike joy; for others, a sign of our times: the triumph of commerce, appearances, and domesticated fear.

This time, over coffee and cookies, we’ll take a closer look at a holiday that for some is a harmless bit of fun, and for others a troubling reflection of changes in modern culture.
