Get ready, performers — the Mills Masquers Theatre is bringing the magical musical Between the Lines to the stage, and we’re looking for talented actors, singers, and dancers to bring this story to life!

? What to Expect at Auditions:

Singing: Come prepared with a short song (10–12 bars). You can sing with piano accompaniment, a backing track (no vocals), or even a cappella — your choice!

Acting: After your song, you’ll do a short reading from the script. Don’t worry — everyone will have a chance to look over the passage before reading.

Dancing: We’ll wrap up with a brief dance audition held in small groups. Wear comfy shoes and be ready to move! ??

If you have dance experience, please note it on your audition form and bring your dance shoes if you have them — we’re especially seeking a few male performers, young actors who can tap, and an experienced younger ballet dancer.

? This production will feature a full orchestra and mic setup, so get ready for a show that shines!

Coming in February and March to the Mills Masquers Stage! 

Between the Lines is an empowering and enchanting story for anyone who has struggled to find their place in the world. An outsider in a new town and a new school, Delilah seeks comfort in the pages of her favorite book, where she feels heard and understood by the handsome Prince Oliver. But as the lines between fantasy and reality begin to blur in extraordinary ways, Delilah realizes her dreams in the real world are worth fighting for.

Rehearsals will start Sunday January 4th. There will be a cast meeting after the cast is chosen to do a quick read through, hand out books to speaking parts and take measurements for costumes. 

Rehearsal schedule Sunday afternoons 2-5pm, Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6:30-8. and there may be a few Saturday afternoons for additional rehearsals if needed. 

Show dates will be February 27th, 28th, 29th and  March 6th, 7th, 8th. Friday and Saturday shows curtain will be at 7:30pm and Sunday shows will be 2:00pm.
