You may remember that my son, Andy Leighty, fought a courageous battle with ALS from March 2018 - October 2021.  Not one day did we walk alone through that valley.  ALS in the Heartland walked beside us every single step of the way.  And today, nearly 5 years after his passing, they're still a special part of our family and continue helping others fight the good fight.

Donating to ALS in the Heartland turns those memorable, icy laughs into real, life-changing support for local families. Your generosity provides free mobility equipment, gives exhausted caregivers a desperate break, and delivers comfort, dignity, and hope when every second counts.
