Cynthia Levin's 6-week Sunday Comedy Camp covers ALL THINGS COMEDY! You'll explore stand-up, improv, and even perform hilarious scenes from plays, films and TV shows -- all culminating in a live performance where you'll get to strut your stuff on our mainstage for your friends and family!
Classes take place on Sundays from 1-3pm, running July 20 through August 24, with the class showcase on Sunday, September 7th.
Getting experience in a broad range of styles is a great tool for understanding the keys at the core of ALL great comedy - making you a more accomplished and insightful performer.
Cynthia's comprehensive, in-depth approach will help you understand yourself better as a performer (and a person!), be more present and open to your scene partner/s, help you find the truth that makes for great comedy, and play all kinds of characters without judgement or effort.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
With over 30 years experience in the industry, Cynthia Levin is an award-winning internationally-known stand-up performer, improviser, actress, and acting and comedy coach who has been teaching since 1997. In addition to classes through Cynthia Levin Productions, she has also taught for Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop in London, Los Angeles, NYC, Chicago, and now, The Laughing Academy in Glenview!
