There is something magical about watching children slow down, dig in the dirt, care for living things, and discover that they have the power to make a difference.

Join us this August for Nature Nurturers, a four-week outdoor nature play group where every activity is thoughtfully designed by a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to help children build confidence, develop important life skills, and grow a meaningful connection with the natural world.

? Together we’ll inspire children to:
? Connect with nature
? Care for the earth
? Grow together

Each week families will experience Functional Roots’ signature play-based curriculum featuring:

✨ Nature Jobs that empower children to become caretakers of the earth
? Active Story Time with movement and imagination
✋ Multi-Sensory Play designed to support healthy development
? Mindfulness practices for children and caregivers
? Functional Roots Empowerment Curriculum that nurtures confidence, kindness, resilience, and body awareness
? Mud Kitchen Play with real feeding therapy tips woven naturally into play

Every family also receives a take-home play guide filled with simple activities, caregiver education, and ideas to continue the learning long after the group ends.

Whether your child loves climbing logs, mixing muddy recipes, caring for animals, planting gardens, or discovering tiny creatures beneath leaves, they’ll find a welcoming place to play, explore, and grow.
