Experience brilliant renditions of the classics alongside original compositions that showcase the genre's exciting future. ---------------- 🎷 Keith Pray (Saxophone): Keith Pray is a versatile saxophonist and organist, who explores the boundaries of mainstream jazz, the blues, avant-garde and gritty funk as a performer, bandleader, composer and educator. ​Keith has traveled from the west coast to Europe making music of many styles with countless gifted musicians. Keith has released 12 albums under his name, most recently "Unseen Sight" on his label PrayNation Records .. Keith is an in demand jazz educator, having conducted many all-counties, masterclasses, clinics, co-founding All Ears Jazz, which develops jazz education workshops. Keith also holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) from the European Graduate School in Expressive Arts: Therapy, Conflict Transformation and Education. 🎹 Rob Lindquist (Piano): Keyboardist and composer Robert Lindquist, a lifelong Albany native, is both classically and jazz trained, holding degrees from SUNY Schenectady, SUNY Potsdam, and a Master’s in Jazz Studies from The College of Saint Rose. A versatile and award-winning pianist, he has shared the stage with artists including Chuck D’Aloia, Dave Calarco, Othello Molineaux, Kenwood Dennard, Keith Pray and Brian Patneaude, among others, while contributing arrangements/original compositions that help define the group’s sound. Lindquist is a staple of the Capital Region jazz scene, and was the leader of Jazz Fusion/Funk band New Regime, Rob performs regularly at festivals and premier venues throughout the area. Otto Gardner (Bass) Matt Niedbalski (Drums): Matt Niedbalski is a musician and composer based in Upstate NY. His primary instrument is the drums and he finds himself mostly playing improvised music. some projects he is involved in include gnp, (a co-lead trio with pianist Tyler Giroux and bassist Dylan Perrillo), Charles Cornell, the Giroux Brothers, Dylan Perrillo Orchestra, and the Vin Mott Blues Band. Matt formed a trio with saxophonist Adam Siegel and bassist Jason Emmond that is often booked as the “Matt Niedbalski Trio”.
