Dream Catching
Geography in a Mind's Eye
Renate Hughes
Renate Hughes’ landscapes emerge from her inner world – imaginings of lands lost, remembered, or dreamed. Her works are visual expressions of emotion, evoking beauty, serenity, wonder, joy, solitude, awe, hope, and sadness.
Renate began making art in 2022, following a 40-year career in community work. Her approach to artmaking is deeply intuitive, shaped by emotional and spiritual connections to water, land, and sky.
