WHERE: Park at the Brush Creek Lot off Historic Packhorse Trail Road, 3000' from Apple Harvest Dr (Rt 45).

ROUTE:
- Start at Shockey's Knob Trailhead/Brush Creek Lot on Historic Packhorse Trail Road
- Shockey’s Knob segment on the Mill Mountain Trail (yellow blazes) begins once you cross the stream less than a mile after you leave the parking lot. 
- Shockey’s Knob segment is 1.1 miles with 859ft of climb, and is on slightly rocky single track trail. 
-There are two intersections on this segment; stay right at both of them. 
-At the first intersection, go right (north) on the Tuscarora Trail (blue blazes). 
-At the second intersection, go right to stay on the blue-blazed Tuscarora Trail (left takes you to the Shockey's Knob shelter) 
-At the summit, you will find a blue wooden registry box to your right. It marks the end of the segment. 
-Strava segment is called “Shockey’s Knob” & is found at https://www.strava.com/segments/12914651 

DETAILS:
-As usual, we will run staggered starts so everyone arrives at the top within a few minutes of one another.
-Once we regroup at the top, we’ll casually run together out to a nice overlook, take some pics, and then complete a ~ 6 mile loop back to the parking lot. (Returning the way you came is also an option, of course.)
