The Blue Note Orchestra in Concert

Big band arrangements evocative of the golden era of swing give way to the cool notes of Bossa Nova and sizzling Latin Jazz in an entertaining display of musical excellence. This critically acclaimed big band and jazz ensemble has played at world-class jazz festivals, including the celebrated Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, The North Seas Jazz Festival in the Netherlands and The Hawaiian International Jazz Festival. A Blue Note concert is always full of surprises – from an improvisational jam with esteemed faculty, a notable guest artist, and renditions of film scores to vibrant brass, world-class percussion, and hypnotic vocals.
