- **Event Description**: Join us for our bi-monthly pack walks through the Old Zoo! 

We want to remind everyone to bring lots of water for you and your pup, and to be mindful of the temps and turn around early if needed.  There is a water fountain at our halfway stop.
Make sure you have good tread on your shoes!  If we opt to do the "extra" portion on the second loop, there is one steep decline where you'll appreciate having some good tread on your shoes.


TIME: 8:00 AM  and 9:00 AM

MEETING LOCATION: Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round LOT TWO drive through the first lot (Lot one) keeping the Merry Go Round on your right.  We'll be gathering in the upper part of lot 2.

1) Before attending your first pack walk with us, it's very important that you watch the short video below:

2) Please reply to this email if you plan to attend, so we know about how many people and dogs to expect.

3) Important reminders:
-One dog per handler (Meaning no one should be handling more than one dog, but feel free to attend without a dog!)
-Dogs must be handled by an adult (over 18)
-Bring a pack for your water/snacks/poop bags so that BOTH hands are free to hold the leash
-No dog introductions, please. Keep a safe distance from each other and other dogs

4) If you are a volunteer hoping to handle one of the dogs in our program- we won't know until later in the week how many and which dogs will be attending the walk. If you'd like to be paired with a dog, let us know- and also let us know if you are willing to transport from a foster home or our Jefferson Park facility.  We'll let you know our needs as soon as possible (but that might not be until Friday).
