This concert, organized by his friend and fellow musician James Robertson, is both a fundraiser and a chance to hear Charlie do what he does best. The program will feature blues, jazz, and the genre-blurring spontaneity Charlie is known for: reimagined standards, groove-driven sets, and shifting small-ensemble combinations throughout the afternoon. It's an afternoon built around music, community, and support - offering audiences a chance to enjoy an artist whose creativity and generosity have shaped so many performances in Phoenix.
