Join us for a special Black History Month Friday tennis event celebrating excellence, community, and the impact of Black athletes on the game. This social tennis gathering welcomes players of all levels for friendly match play, open hitting, and good energy on and off the court.
We’ll honor the legacy of trailblazers like Arthur Ashe and Althea Gibson while creating space to connect, compete, and build community through tennis. Expect music, great rallies, and a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere focused on fun, respect, and shared love for the sport.
The first hour will focus on structured drills and mini-clinics covering groundstrokes, serves, returns, and net play to build rhythm and fundamentals. The second hour will transition into match play and competitive drills, emphasizing point construction, movement, and fun, fast-paced competition.
