Generally, there are two scenarios facing a VFD technician when installing or troubleshooting a VFD: Either you have specified drawings from an engineered solution, or you are applying a VFD into your application yourself. Both scenarios require the technician to fully understand the control capabilities of the drive and how the various internal systems function in order to troubleshoot them. Real world applications are used to implement basic open and closed loop control schemes.
