Muddy Kids is a family-friendly obstacle mud run designed for kids (ages 5–17) and their parents!
We don’t focus on fastest times or competition — we focus on fun, family bonding, and muddy memories. Be prepared to run, walk, crawl, climb, slide, balance, and laugh your way along the course for an amazing muddy day out.
Route Options
You can choose between:
3-mile route with 15+ obstacles, or
2-mile route with around 10 obstacles
Both options bring the same muddy excitement — just pick what suits your family best!
Adults & Kids on Course
All kids must be accompanied by a registered, participating adult for the entire course so you can experience it together. There is a minimum of 1 kid per adult and a maximum of 4 kids per adult.
Kids tickets apply to ages 5–17, and adults/legal guardians must be 18+.
Pace & Timing
There is no time limit. Once you’re on the course, you can go as fast or as slowly as you like. The run can take 1–3 hours (average around 2 hours), depending on your pace and how long you spend enjoying the obstacles.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome for free. There will be an event village where they can cheer you on at the start/finish and relax while participants are on course.
Waivers & Safety
Waivers must be signed (available online during checkout and on the day at registration).
No waiver, no run — no exceptions.
Weather Policy
Muddy Kids is a rain or shine event. In extreme conditions (such as lightning, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc.), the event may be postponed and tickets will be transferred. No refunds for weather cancellations.
Bags, Parking & Payments
A bag check is available on event day for a small fee of $5 (please note Muddy Kids is not responsible for lost or damaged items).
Parking is $20 per car.
Muddy Kids is a cashless event, so please bring a card or digital payment method.
Food & Drinks
We know every kid runs on snacks — and some get extra cranky without their favorites! We always aim to set up a fun Village area at every event, where families can relax, cheer, and enjoy the day together. We bring in local food and drink vendors whenever possible, but availability can vary by location.
To keep things simple, this will be confirmed the week of your event. Look out for your official Participant Information email, sent the Monday before event day, which will clearly state whether outside food and drinks are permitted at your venue. Either way — we’ve got you! Our team works hard to make sure families have access to what they need to keep the energy high and the fun going all day long.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds. If you’re unable to attend your event date, we’re happy to assist with transferring your ticket to a future event. Please see the waiver for full details or contact
