These challenges may be associated with a range of diagnoses.This workshop will include:Demonstration of the PODD communication system through videos and case studiesOpportunity for hands on practice using PODD communication systemsStrategies to support the implementation of PODD with students and team membersLearning outcomes of PODD workshop -Understand the principles behind PODD and aided language stimulation.Explore the structure, features, and customisation of PODD communication books.Gain hands-on practice with PODD templates to create personalised communication systems.Learn effective strategies to teach and model PODD with individuals and their support networks.Build confidence in supporting autonomous communication across different settings and daily routines.This workshop will take place face to face in Glen Waverley, Victoria.Morning and afternoon tea will be provided.
