- **Event Description**: This is a ride to welcome and help people new to road bicycling in groups.  You do not need to be a RABA Member to ride - all cyclists are welcome and there is no charge for the ride.  However, helmets are required to ride, and cyclists should have enough fitness to pedal continuously for 45 to 60 minutes over varied terrain.  There will be a safety talk before the ride begins; the ride is 20 miles roundtrip - 10 miles to Ashland, stop for a brief rest in Ashland, then 10 miles return to RF&P Park.  For stronger / faster riders, there is a 12 mile extension.  We are also looking for volunteers to help with leading and modeling the way to ride safely and responsibly to new riders.
