Songs and stories. Music provided by Kathleen Dooley and Doug Orlyk.
Hats and a cash bar, where you can buy Steve's favorite intermission food, M&Ms. Please share this event to one and all.
Send any of the following components to Craig Gustafson at Q3JhaWdUR3VzdGFmc29uIHwgY29tY2FzdCAhIG5ldA==
1. Photos – send your favorite photo of Steve and yourself – and/or just your favorite photo of Steve – to be included in a video montage.
2. Videos – any performance of Steve’s you would like to submit for viewing. We’ll try to use as many snippets as we can. If the file is too big to e-mail, use Dropbox and e-mail me the link.
3. Stories and songs: because of (A) the huge number of friends Steve has and (B) the limited amount of time on a Monday evening before it becomes Tuesday, there will be an online signup page for people who wish to sing or tell a Steve Story. Even so, in order to accommodate the largest amount of people, we’re asking that you take a maximum of two minutes.
NOTE: THE ONLINE SIGNUP is available here:
Steve is going to provide most of the entertainment. In addition to a montage of scenes, there will be five or six full-length songs to be performed by Steve, via video. I’m picturing Steve with his Pretentious Cigarette: “Yeah. I’ll be performing at my own memorial. Because I *can*.”
Tears are probably going to show up, but we’re looking at celebrating our friend in the way he would best appreciate – with showmanship. And love.
