The Rock-A-Sonics are an exciting rockabilly band who are getting attention around the globe. They play a versatile mix of authentic rockabilly and vintage rock and roll. If you haven't caught them yet, here's more in their own words:
In January 2014 an extraordinary teenaged singer hopped a time machine from the fifties and landed on the doorstep of four Washington DC area rockabilly musicians. They initially got together just to play a single show (a Buddy Holly tribute) but quickly realized the combination should become a regular thing, and the Rock-A-Sonics were born. Their deep playlist and variety of styles and tempos have made them a favorite of the DC/MD/VA/PA swing dance community.
Beginner lesson by Flying Feet Enterprises included at 8:00 pm, then get ready to swing the night away as the band will play from 9 pm - midnight.
Cost is only $20/person, $15 with valid student ID.
Dress is casual, no partner or experience required.
