Bring your lanterns, wear fairy lights to celebrate St Lucia's day. A festival of Kindness to light the dark.
Join a special Glastonbury Community project to help brighten the town in the winter celebrating love, peace and unity.
We will meet at St John's with a lantern parade to the Market cross, and back to the Labyrinth where we will create a wheel of light around the Labyrinth. In a short ceremony 48 wooden hearts with messages of kindness and togetherness will be added to the Winter barrier around the Labyrinth.
This is the second of three Winter events using heartfelt words created by community groups in Glastonbury.
The third event will be on Candlemas 2nd February.
A total of 144 hearts are used to brighten the town, symbolising unity and harmony.
