- **Event Description**: In this one-day workshop held at St Edmunds Hall, you will be guided to create a unique needle felted Spirit Doll. In this workshop which  will be suitable for beginners and those who have attended before, we will introduce the skills needed for making antlers and facial hair should you wish! The doll will be a reflection of your own creative spirit, healing and devotion.  You and your inspiration are very welcome to join the circle of doll makers.

Spirit dolls are companions, guides, supports, healers for the soul. At their centre they have a medicine bundle containing natural elements such as leaves, bark, gems, herbs, stones, bones, shells, and magical items particular to you.
All materials and equipment are supplied, including core wool, wool for decorating your doll and a selection of natural materials. 

You will take away your doll and the knowledge of how to create more in your own way. The needle, a sacred tool used to create her/him/them, will be yours to keep.
You need no previous knowledge of needle felting; learning will be experiential, taught and guided in a small group by Michele and Mandie.

Full payment is required 4 weeks before the workshop. After this refunds are only possible if your space can be filled.
Michele www.instagram.com/creations.of.eve/ and Mandie www.instagram.com/spirit_dolls_glastonbury/
 are crafters with many years of experience working with wool in different forms. They work with a deep acknowledgement and love of Goddess in these lands of Avalon. Both studied with Sacred Familiar, www.sacredfamiliar.com/ who runs online courses in doll making and tarot, and whose techniques inform much of the practical teaching.
Hot drinks and snacks will be provided for breaks. You can bring food for lunch or eat in town.
The workshop is not suitable for children given the sharp needles, and participants should be aware that some risk of blood magic is involved!
