Ruins of the old abbey remain and are open to paying visitors, while the abbey grounds also boast fine orchards from which the famous and popular Abbey Cider and Apple Juice are produced. The Astons have been in the cider-making business for centuries! It is October 1928 and, as is tradition, Lord Aston is hosting his annual Cider Apple Harvest Festival Dinner for well-heeled influential local folks. It is to celebrate a successful (and hopefully profitable) year of cider production. But tension is in the air as the Lord’s new, glamorous and young American wife is rumoured to have plans to use the event to promote her preposterous new venture – fruit flavoured and sparkling cider drinks!" Murder At Abbey House is a light-hearted, 1920s murder mystery dinner featuring comic characters.
