Blue Lotus and Sound Bath
Thursday 30 January, 7.30pm
The Gables, Glastonbury
£25 per person
This midwinter gathering offers a deeply calming and introspective space to reset as the new year unfolds. January can invite quiet reflection and this evening is designed to support rest, emotional balance and gentle reconnection after the intensity of the festive period.
We begin by sharing blue lotus tea in ceremony. Blue lotus has been used for centuries for its subtle heart-opening, calming and mildly euphoric properties.
It is known to ease the nervous system, encourage relaxation, and support a dreamlike, meditative state without stimulation. Its gentle effects help soften mental chatter and create a sense of spaciousness and emotional ease.
You will then be guided through a grounding meditation to help you settle fully into your body and transition from the activity of the day into a more receptive state.
The evening concludes with a restorative sound bath. As the blue lotus works to relax the mind and body, sound vibrations can be received more deeply, supporting nervous system regulation, emotional release and deep rest.
Together, blue lotus and sound create a complementary experience that encourages surrender, inner awareness and renewal.
This space is ideal for anyone seeking calm, clarity and restoration at the start of the year.
Open to both men and women. No prior experience is necessary.
