Yoga’s public image seems to be dominated by young, athletic women performing seemingly impossible contortions, but that’s far from the whole story. Yoga is a hugely beneficial, multi-faceted tool with something to offer everyone, regardless of gender, age or fitness level. 

Come along to this special, informal two-hour workshop to learn more about yoga and what it can do for you, inside and out. Matt will offer a combination of breathing exercises, movement practice and meditation, a glimpse into the breadth and depth of the yoga tradition, and a space for discussion and questions. 

Don’t have a yoga mat? No problem. We’ve got you covered! Just bring yourself and some comfy clothes. 

Something of a late bloomer, Matt embraced yoga in his early forties and graduated from Merchant City Yoga’s teacher-training programme in 2021.
