Tomorrow Somewhere by the Sea

Once school graduation is over, new goals are needed to give life a direction. This means freedom to chose one's path – or uncertainty. Patrick Büchting's film picks up four young people at precisely this moment. Konrad, Romy and Julian set out on a road trip to Portugal. Nele joins them along the way. The four young adults grow closer during the trip, learning to listen, develop compassion and rethink their own roles, even when tensions arise. The road movie shows how its protagonists gradually find the courage to face the unknown – in the world, but above all within themselves. The film is based on the young adult novel of the same name by Adriana Popescu.
