It opens with a coastal scene in Porthcurno, giving a sense of regionality and space.Visit the Museum X website for more information.About Museum XMuseum X is an experimental museum bringing people, places, and stories together to test ideas and reimagine African and Caribbean heritage. We recognise that these historical processes continue to affect the lived experiences of all Scottish peoples, but especially Scottish Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities and people, whose histories and voices have either been mostly ignored, or told through narrow frames. Thus, we are committed to creating a platform for Scottish BME histories and stories, and to expanding Scotland’s narratives of empire and colonialism to include BME stories of agency, resistance, and celebration.https://www.empiremuseum.scot/
