Devised and co-created by the young people of Toonspeak, this new version travels through the iconic landscapes of North, East, South, and West Glasgow, weaving together the four seasons in a joyful, magical adventure.
With an array of enchanting characters, original music, and stunning design, The Gingerbread Kid is a festive celebration of place, imagination, and the power of coming together. Bursting with humour and heart, it’s a Christmas show that will leave you laughing and believing in the magic of community.

Easily accessible by train (Argyle Street or Queen Street), subway (St Enoch) and bus routes through the city centre. Paid parking options available on street and nearby.

Toonspeak is a youth theatre company based in Glasgow, creating free, high-quality performing arts opportunities for young people aged 5–25.
The Studio Theatre at The Boardwalk is a lower floor venue. There is an accessible lift inside the entrance to the main reception area.
Toilets include gender neutral and accessible options.
