Tangocontact is a dance form that combines tango and contact improvisation. It's a form of dance that plays with both freedom and structure to enable each one to find comfort with their own body, movements, musicality and relationships.
Tangocontact is about:
- getting used to feel the part of the body that moves
- to feel its weight, energy and position in space
- playing while dancing
- constantly communicating with the dance partner
- moving more fluently with each other and with the music

Tango teacher Cacu Lucero, who develops and explores the concept, is travelling from Argentina to bring us this beautiful dance. For the 4th year in a row we'll share a weekend with lessons, milongjam and nice moments to spend together.
Teacher: Cacu Lucero
Cacu Lucero was born by the sea in Mar del Plata, Argentina. A quiet city that allowed him to combine nature with culture. And since it is close to Buenos Aires, it also gave him the chance to connect with the intensity of this intense city. So from the beginning Cacu is in a state of fusion.
Since 2016 he has organised together with other friends tangocontact and contact improv festivals in different cities of Argentina.
He's been teaching dance for 24 years. Exploring, fusing, playing.
He's participated in different educational events, because he loves that aspect. He's fascinated by the possibilities of transmitting a feeling, an idea, a process... and how the person who receives it interprets it, dances it. So he also teaches pedagogy classes for dance teachers.
Since 2005 he tours mainly in Europe sharing workshops and seminars of tangocontact, milonga, tango and musicality in tango. Tango queer and dance laboratories as well. He also toured in different countries of Latin America and many cities inside Argentina.
In the tangocontact classes, he seeks that each person can express his or her own dance, connecting with the technique and possibilities of tango along with the somatic exploration that facilitates contact improvisation. The music plays a fundamental role in the interpretation and improvisation. Technique fused with chaos. Poetry fused with structure.
