In this workshop we'll be exploring different ways of introducing print to your ceramic pieces.This class will cover how to use pre-made underglaze decals but also how to create your own. How to use stencilling and printing methods with underglaze or slip to introduce intricate and colourful prints to your ceramic work.Printing on pottery takes time and practise to perfect, especially on large surfaces or complicated shapes. This class will introduce you to the techniques through small test pieces. We will provide small tiles and a pot for you to decorate during the class or you're very welcome to bring some small pots of your own (stoneware clay firing to 1250° ) bisqued and/or leather hard.--After the class your pieces will dry in the studio before being fired and clear-glazed by studio technicians.
