- **Event Description**: Mark your calendars for the 2026 Run to the Rescue 5K, a road race beginning and ending at the Busted Knuckle Taproom in Glasgow, MT. This year, we are donating 50% of all proceeds to the Valley County Search & Rescue team.

The Valley County Search & Rescue team was established in 1997 by Greg Speer, Alvie Hallock, & then-Sheriff Dick Britzman. VCSAR is a vital VOLUNTEER organization in our community that is ready, at the drop of a hat, to help in locating, aiding, and extracting individuals in distress, often in extremely dangerous & hazardous environments. Let's rally together to support and raise money for a group that we are so fortunate to have in our community.

Entry fee to participate is $20. This includes a finisher's medal, as well as a token for 1 free drink from the Busted Knuckle Taproom. 

We will also have additional awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers for both men and women.

Registration forms will be available for pickup at the Busted Knuckle Taproom beginning on 4/18/26. Day-of registration will also be available on May 17th.
