We'll join together with old and new friends to celebrate the abundance of the autumn season and the renewal of the oncoming Jewish year. We will explore traditional Jewish texts, as well as the local plants growing all around us. We will then gather together to cook a new year treat from our foraged finds.Everyone welcome, regardless of affiliation with other Jewish communities, organisations or background, including non-Jewish partners and family members. This event is for all ages, and everyone is welcome. Note that anybody under the age of 18 will need to attend with an adult, who will take full responsibility for them.Light vegetarian snacks will be served at the event, including dairy and gluten. All ingredients will be certified kosher, and cooked and served on kosher dishes.We will be outside, with tarpaulines for cover in case of rain. Please dress accordingly. There is level access at the venue, but over rough and uneven ground. Seating will be on the ground, with blankets provided, although you're welcome to bring your own chair if you'd like.The event will take place in Glasgow's Southside. The exact location will be sent to registered participants a week before the event. Participants will be responsible for their own transportation. The venue is accessible by public transport.
