Discussions will address themes such as postcolonialism, extractivism, community collaboration, collective listening, accessibility through DIY resources, inclusivity, ecological awareness, the interaction between the documentary and the imaginary, and listening at different scales.While providing an ideal opportunity to share ideas from sound studies and other disciplines, the symposium will remain convivial and accessible, focusing on topics and approaches that resonate beyond expert circles.
