About the event

Paddy Hill: Inside Out - Performance Excerpt and Q&A
March 14th 2026 heralds the 35th anniversary of the Birmingham Six's release from jail.

That evening, Carlton Studios in Glasgow will host an excerpt from the newly crafted monologue and stage play, Paddy Hill: Inside Out.

Starring Conor McClean, Paddy Hill: Inside Out tells of Paddy Hill’s transformation from one of ‘The Six Most Hated Men In Britain’ to an inspirational justice campaigner of global renown.

The Carlton performance will be a short excerpt from the play, followed by a Q&A with the actor, writer/director Martin Lloyd Withers, and long-time Paddy Hill ally John McManus. To end the night, there will be music from Doctur Normul.

Brand new, limited edition merchandise will also be available at the event and online thereafter, subject to availability.

Tickets are limited - you can get one by donating £25 to the crowdfunder for the project: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/paddy-hill-inside-out-2
