Presented by Jack Heavenor, Summer Recital marks the first edition of a new recital series exploring jazz standards, lyrical ballads and bossa-inflected songbook repertoire in a warm and atmospheric concert setting.

Performed alongside:

* Matthew McIlree — Piano
* Duncan Kremer — Double Bass
* Nemo Ganguli — Drums

The programme will move through a carefully curated selection of timeless songs and instrumental moments, blending attentive listening, conversational performance and intimate ensemble interplay within the church’s striking acoustic.

Inspired by the recordings of artists such as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Ella Fitzgerald, the evening aims to create a reflective and welcoming concert experience suited to both dedicated jazz listeners and wider audiences alike.

A percentage of proceeds from the event will contribute towards ongoing restoration and repair work within the church.
