This talk will highlight the use of hydrogen as a clean energy vector which compliments the wider electrification of the Scottish and UK energy system, together with examples of current and planned deployments of hydrogen across Scotland.Nigel Holmes is Chief Executive of Hydrogen Scotland, formerly known as the Scottish Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association. Nigel first became involved in renewables and hydrogen twenty years ago, joining Hydrogen Scotland as an individual member when it was established in 2004, and has been Chief Executive since 2011.Hydrogen Scotland brings together over 200 members from industry, academia, public sector and individuals who are involved in the development and deployment of hydrogen across Scotland and more widely.
