The protests for Palestine have not let up for 2 years, despite the UK government continually trying to undermine the movement - from Suella Braverman goading the far right onto the streets, to Keir Starmer's authoritarianism against organisers and demonstrators.
But the global movement is continually expanding, like in the recent case of the Italian general strike for Gaza and 600,000 on the streets of London calling for a ceasefire.
We invite you to come and discuss the big questions: Does protest actually work? Why is the state so eager to stop them? How can a mass movement transform ideas in society? Why are so many protest movements happening across the world today?
Leading off the discussion will be Milica Prokic and Vladimir Unkovski-Korica - both historians and activists - drawing on movements of the past that continue to shape our world.
