In “Lucky’s Grove” a family discover the dangers of bringing in the wrong Christmas Tree for their celebrations. The twinkling fairy lights cannot illuminate the very real darkness they have let loose into their home. In “The Wendigo” a lonely hunting party in far flung pine forests hear the terrible call of the wild. Something walks amongst the towering trees, and upon the wind itself. And in “The Elder Son” a father tries to carve the perfect Christmas gift from a broken tree. A gift he bitterly regrets as soon as it is made.

Please note this is a live performance by Edwyrdian Tales at the Britannia Panopticon, 113-117 Trongate, Glasgow G1 5HD – the performance is not being streamed on-line.
The Britannia Panopticon is an incredible building, the oldest surviving music hall in the world, famed as the place where 16-year-old Stan Laurel made his debut. This will make it one of the most incredibly atmospheric venues of our UK tour. Due to its current slightly crumbling condition some modern luxuries such as heating or a lift are not possible, so dressing for the prevailing weather and bringing a blanket for the performance may be wise.
Disabled access – It is best to contact the venue directly on tel:01415530840 to discuss any needs. There is wheelchair access, however, it is important that wheelchair users contact the venue at least 2 weeks in advance so that the venue can properly accommodate them as the stair-climber is not suitable for bariatric wheelchairs and some larger motorised chairs. Due to the historic nature of the building, the venue also does not have disabled accessible toilets.
