Its that time of the month again.
We are back with Express Yourself on the 27th February in Tell It Slant, housed in Locavore.
We take our seats at 7pm, get to know each other and the poetry starts at 7.30pm.
We have an interesting surprise featured poet. A poet I have never met but approached me asking if I could help her promote her poetry. Christina Milarvie Quarrell will be sharing her new publication The Exquisite Ordinary. See more about Christina in the comments section.
There is an open mic. Poets are welcome to share their poetry with us. Sign up on the night. Slot length depends on how many folk sign up. Usually 7 to 10 minutes.
Its a byob event, tea and coffee, cakes and sausage/vegan rolls and salads on sale too. There's also an exciting poetry raffle.
Free entry. Welcoming friendly faces, great poetry.
