Anyone looking for support can walk through the door and get help fast. Delivered by the Scottish Action for Mental Health's Children and Young People team. This workshop allows young people to understand how body image can be a stressor for young people and the impact body image can have on mental health. The workshop will consider the concept of the ‘perfect body’ and stereotypes around body image. Young people will explore body positivity and the positive effects that this has on confidence, self-esteem, and body image.Young people will learn the importance of self-care, along with how to support themselves and others, and the support available to them through national organisations.
