We are back again with another Dementia Friendly Screening at the Kirky Cinema in the Kirkintilloch Town Hall, we will be showing Herbie The Love Bug as a Dementia Friendly screening at The Kirkintilloch Town Hall, Union street, doors open at 1:45pm for a 2pm showing on Friday 6th February.
Tickets are Adult £5, Child £3 and Carers go free.
Tea, coffee and cakes are available during the showing
Down-on-his-luck race car driver Jim Douglas teams up with a little VW Bug that has a mind of it's own, not realizing Herbie's worth until a sneaky rival plots to steal him.
Working in partnership with Alzheimer Scotland, our Dementia Friendly screenings are carefully structured to suit the needs of those living with Dementia and their carers. The hall is lighter with the volume reduced.
Subtitles are on.
There will be friendly staff available throughout the movie for a wee blether.
These screenings are a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where we encourage chatting and dancing.
