After a career working in commercial and product roles for startups as well as Google, Amazon and Microsoft he pivoted to found lintels, a software that tackles the issue of housing fraud by identifying illegal subletting.Kaye Keenan, BE-ST / Centre for Net Zero High Denisty Buildings:Kaye is an Impact Manager within the Housing and Manufacturing Team. Starting her career as a teacher, Kaye has worked in a number of roles within the built environment including building conservation, traditional skills and qualification development. As an Impact Manager, Kaye manages programmes and projects that focus on delivering sustainable solutions that will help decarbonise the built environment and is currently working as the Industry Engagement lead in the Centre for Net Zero High Density Buildings. She is also Programme Manager for the BE-ST Post graduate scholarship programme, connecting master's students with industry to work on real life challenges.Dane Ralston, iOpt:Dane is the founder and CEO of iOpt, a Glasgow-based PropTech business that has spent the last decade building the sensor and data layer for social housing. Since founding iOpt in 2016, Dane has taken the company from an idea about low-cost environmental monitoring to a deployed estate of IoT sensors across 17,000 homes with 50 housing providers UK-wide. iOpt's sensors monitor temperature, humidity and environmental conditions in real time, giving landlords early warning of damp, mould and escape-of-water risk before a tenant has to report it — a capability now central to how providers detect and evidence hazards under Awaab's Law and the Renters' Rights Act. Dane's focus is on shifting social housing from reactive repairs to preventative, data-led asset management, and on keeping the technology cheap enough to deploy at whole-stock scale.Following the success of previous events held together, we are set to continue building a collaborative network for professionals innovating in the property sector, while also allowing for cross-sector polination in related geospatial sectors.Join us as we come together to share experiences, build valuable new connections, and foster a deeper understanding of the needs of the built environment sector.
